Day 3 Royal Palm Hotel Santa Cruz - Bartolome Island Excursion | Meals: BLD
There is so much to see and do at Royal Palm, it will be tough to decide what to do. The next few days reflect our recommended itinerary, but you can easily modify the activities as you like.
After breakfast today, board one of the hotel's chartered yachts for an excursion to nearby Bartolome Island. This full day tour provides spectacular volcanic landscapes and lots of opportunities for spotting dolphins (and possibly whales) on the two hour journey. The launch stops at Daphne Island, a volcanic tuff cone formation to see the sea lions and sea birds. Bartolome Island is probably most famous for Pinnacle Rock. Climb up a long wooden staircase of about 360 steps to a viewpoint that has commanding views of nearly every island in the archipelago. A must see! After lunch, there is time for snorkeling before returning back to the hotel later this afternoon.
