Welcome to Tanzania! Arrive in Arusha today, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The evening is at leisure.
Lying on the gentling rolling foothills that cascade down from the ever-present Mount Meru is the bustling and vibrant town of Arusha. It is here on the outskirts of this town, hidden amongst one of Tanzania's largest coffee plantations, that you will find Arusha Coffee Lodge, a perfect haven for relaxation either before or after any African safari.
Comprising of 30 Plantation Houses - inclusive of 12 Plantation Suites - that radiate out into the evergreen coffee fields, Arusha Coffee Lodge has been designed around the original landowner's home that dates back to the early 1900's.
The theme of coffee is never far away at Arusha Coffee Lodge, and this is never more evident than in the Plantation Suites where the theme coffee bean permeates even the interior designs of both the main bedroom as well as the beautifully appointed en-suite bathroom.
The homely feel of the Lodge is by no means accidental as the origins of the homestead continue to emit glimpses of times-gone-by. The friendly and personable staff help create an ambiance that continues to draw appreciation from all those who visit and stay.
Within the main Plantation House reside an 'a la carte' restaurant, an intimate bar and a cozy lounge, all of which possess inviting open log fires that will fill the cool night air with a comforting warmth and a welcoming glow.
With two boutiques, an enclosed and intimate swimming pool and a popular garden terrace, Arusha Coffee Lodge encourages exploration and discovery at every turn.
From the industrious coffee pickers gathering in the harvest to the aromas of the morning brew emanating from the main Plantation House as breakfast is being prepared, Arusha Coffee Lodge is full of sensory experiences that revitalizes the body and soul for the adventures and excitement that lie ahead.

Trapped in the parched Kalahari sands the fresh water oasis attracts wildlife that depends on the permanent waters of this unique wilderness. Camp Okavango is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assuring a year-round water wilderness experience.
The Okavango is a unique ecosystem of papyrus-lined waterways, knee-deep floodplains, water-lily lagoons, shady forest glades and rich savannah grasslands. Using Camp Okavango as your base, this intricate water wilderness can be explored and enjoyed. Camp Okavango is located right in the center of the Okavango Delta and is surrounded by channel systems and flood plains which form the core water supply to this delicate ecosystem throughout the year. Exploring the Okavango by mokoro, specially adapted boats or guided walking excursions on the islands surrounding Nxaragha Island will allow every visitor to the region the opportunity to truly experience what the Okavango Delta is all about. The main lodge building at Camp Okavango, which houses the reading lounge and cocktail bar, opens out onto an expansive outdoor lounge and fire place built under the shady boughs of huge Jackelberry trees. Day 13 Victoria Falls-Okavango Delta | Meals: BLD
Today, a road transfer takes you to Kasane, from where you board your light aircraft flight into the heart of the Okavango Delta. Settle into your luxury camp and review your game viewing options with your Ranger.
Camp Okavango
Botswana's magnificent Okavango Delta is a maze of lagoons, lakes and hidden channels covering an area of over 16,000 km2 in flood and shrinking to less than 9,000 km2 in the dry season.
The elevated rooms are located along pathways which meander out to the left and right of the main lodge building. Each room has its own unique view into the lush Okavango forest from its own private deck. For the romantic Honeymooner or the guest who prefers that added extra when traveling, Camp Okavango offers an exclusive suite. From the suite, the view of the Papyrus lined channels and distant wooded islands are spectacular. Camp Okavango has its own private airfield which is located a mere five minutes walk from the main lodge area on Nxarahga Island. Alternatively Camp Okavango can be reached by means of a scheduled boat transfer system linking Xugana Island Lodge and Camp Moremi to Camp Okavango.
Camp Okavango's elegant thatch and lethaka main lodge building, shaded by giant Mangosteen Trees, features a cocktail bar, lounge and wildlife reference library. The dining room leads onto an expansive open-air patio for evenings around the fireside offering guests a chance to view the stars beneath the crystal clear skies of Botswana. Other facilities include a secluded bird-viewing hide and a sun-kissed deck with plunge pool for relaxing during the hot midday hours.
Camp Okavango accommodates only 24 guests in intimate exclusivity in East African-style safari tents, individually situated on raised teak platforms with en-suite facilities and private viewing decks. For those who demand the ultimate in exclusivity, Camp Okavango boasts the "Okavango Suite", a thatched cottage offering complete privacy - ideal for honeymooners.
All game-viewing activities are conducted by experienced professional guides and include exploring the Okavango by mokoro in eco-friendly canoes where guests can relish in the serenity of this magnificent site and get a chance to see the small critters of the Delta, such as the tiny painted reed frog amongst others. Alternatively explore the Delta by motorboat and take pleasure in the essence of the surrounding panoramic views of lagoons and windy channels. Guided nature walks on the various islands allow for opportunity to track some of the larger species that inhabit this water wilderness. Bird-watching opportunities are outstanding as more than 400 species of birds flourish in this wet wonderland, and fishing for bream and tiger fish is also offered on a catch and release basis. Please note that children under the age of 16 years may not take part in any walking or mokoro activities.
