Day 1 Arrive Nairobi
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2 Nairobi | Meals: B
The morning is at leisure. After lunch, travel out to the suburbs of Karen to visit the former home of Karen von Blixen, now a museum. After time to walk through the house (which still contains some of Ms. Blixen's original possessions) take the short drive to the Giraffe Center. Here, come eye-to-eye with the graceful Rothschild giraffes and feed them from an elevated platform. Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 3 Nairobi-Aberdares | Meals: BLD
This morning your drive takes you into the Aberdares mountain range for a night at a tree hotel. Relax on the verandah of your lodge and wait as animals come to the lit waterhole to drink water and to scratch for salt.
Set in the heart of the Aberdares National Park, The Ark overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife such as elephant, rhino, leopard, bushbuck and occasionally an elusive bongo or giant forest hog.

Day 4 Aberdares-Mt. Kenya | Meals: BLD
Travel by road to William Holden's former retreat set at the foot of majestic Mt. Kenya. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the 110-acre setting. Perhaps a round of golf or relaxation by the pool?

Mt. Kenya Safari Club offers many recreational activities, such as horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, a beauty salon, an animal orphanage and much more. Enjoy the day at leisure to indulge in a visit to the salon or perhaps a round of golf or a horseback ride? (These are all optional activities and not included in the tour price)

Day 6 WED Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
Transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara and your tented camp set along the banks of the Mara River. After lunch, enjoy game viewing in Kenya's most famous national reserve. Perhaps best known for its black-maned lions, the Mara is also home to all the Big Five as well as a wide variety of plains game like zebra, wildebeest, topi and impala.
The luxurious Mara Safari Club is set in the Ol-Choro Oiroua Conservation Area, bordering the Masai Mara Game Reserve, at the foot of the Aitong Hills. Surrounded on three sides by the Mara River, all tents have their own private river frontage, with four-poster beds, verandah, electricity, modern en-suite facilities with hot and cold running water.
The main building, with lounge, bar and dining room is cantilevered over the river.
At the club, the pool, Al Fresco buffet lunches and nightly activities of Maasai dancing, slide shows and talks on the Mara's ecosystem and Maasai culture, all add up to create a truly unique experience.
The camp has 7 double and 43 twin bedded tents accommodating a maximum of 100 guests. Each has netted four poster beds and verandah overlooking the hippo-filled river. The height of luxury in the wild, each tent is superbly furnished and has its own private bathroom with hot and cold water.

Day 7 Masai Mara | Meals: BLD
Keep your bird and animal check list handy today, as you will probably complete your check list today. The variety of bird and wildlife in the Masai Mara is simply spectacular.
Bird enthusiasts will thrill at the prospect of spotting some of the 500 species of birds recorded in the Mara. On game drives, watch for cheetah in the rolling grassland, as well as warthog, kongoni, and jackal - among the 95 mammal species recorded in the Mara.

Day 8 Masai Mara-Depart | Meals: BD
After an early morning game drive, a light aircraft flight takes you back to Nairobi. You'll have time to freshen up in our Partner Lounge before departing for a fun dinner at the Pampa Grill. Then, it's off to the airport for your homeward bound flight.

- Located on one of the viewing decks is a lounge and a bar, which remains open all night for tea and coffee.
- The Ark has four game viewing areas from which to observe the ever-present wildlife. There is a ground level hide where you'll literally come face to face with animals.
- Comfortable en-suite cabins are fitted with buzzers to announce the arrival of one of the "Big Five" at the waterhole.
- Resembling and named after Noah's Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide superb advantage for game viewing.
