Day 3  Samburu | Meals: BLD
Samburu National Reserve is spectacular. The dry plains are bisected by the meandering Ewaso Nyiro River, with Mt. Kenya visible in the background. Samburu is a small reserve, but rich in wildlife. Watch for several species endemic to the region like gerenuk and Grevy's zebra. Thanks to a healthy population of plains game like gazelle, impala and zebras, the big cat predators like lion, leopard and cheetah can also be found here. Birdlife is also fantastic - among the birds you might spot on your morning and afternoon game drives are sunbirds, Lilac-breasted Roller, Secretary Bird and Superb Starling, to name just a few.
